PODCAST #81 An Ominous Illumination at the Brink of Quietus
Keppler-22b, 600 light years out there, revolves & awaits a dreamer. Countless others, undiscovered from our perspective, unnamed in our language, remain suspended awaiting, watching else-form stare off into 'notherland towards an ominous illumination at the brink of quietus.
There's that moment of wonder, stagnant & obvious, where light must pass - dark matter to blackness - reborn unto a new self, simple & swiftly. Superstring & quark, passing through a multiverse, radiating without energy; shining having already extinguished.
The moment will one day come, but the blade of grass slowly comes to focus, awakening from a daydream of the mysterious light.

- (0:12:24) Terje Isungset THE DAWNING - Now this is fascinating. All Terje's music is played on massive blocks of carved ice, so every sound (other than the voices) is created with solidified water. Pretty sweet! I thought it would sound even 'cooler' if I laid it on top of Kate Bush's aptly titled track, "Snowflake," and so I did ;>.

- (0:55:09) Sebastian The Crab I TUMBLED FORTH - If you didn't catch it in an earlier podcast, Sanju Sebastian is a brilliantly talented young musician I met with my wife in a subway tunnel at Canal Street a couple months back. We heard this amazingly powerful amplified electronica music swallowing the sounds of rats eating trash and subway cars grinding on iron tracks. Please support his music and check out his page: http://sebastianthecrabmusic.tumblr.com/ He has two EPs on his site that you can download, and please drop him a quick note to help support his art - these NYC artists/musicians do not get enough support, and their time and lifelong passion sometimes go unrecognized. It is a complete shame. Please support local music as much as possible, too, otherwise we run the risk of the music industry figuring out another shady way to fill your ears with poorly sculpted manure.
